The Name of Jesus

I heard the name Jesus when I was a child
I was taught of the man who died on the cross for me

Still yet I struggled with the ways of the world and some choices I still wear the shame.

God my father, you taught me and something inside always sought thee,
Never straying too far away

When my tongue can’t find the words.
I find my heart speaks for me.
Pouring my burdens out to you.
Bringing them at your feet.

I don’t have a perfect story. I will always fall short of your glory. Forever your humble servant. Jesus you always go before me  making a way.

Lord thank you for your blessings. And always teaching me lessons. You’ve shined a light through the darkness guiding my way.
