Hop on the imagination station and go for a ride!
Where to today, I can’t decide.
Should we fly high in the sky and talk to a cloud?
Or do you think that would be allowed?
Should we go down below earth’s surface?
Or would that make you nervous?
Should we watch a plant photosynthesis,
or have you done that too many times?
Should we shrink ourselves like Miss Frizzle’s class?
Then we could explore the center of mass.
Should we fly with the bumblebees,
or pick a different bug to be.
Should we go down to the waterfront and see how dragonflies hunt?
Or deep into the forest to see how the trees are nourished.
Maybe we ought to deep dive in the depths of the ocean,
or learn about Einstein’s laws of motions.
We can journey into the science of erosion, or better yet, let’s learn about explosions.
How about a volcano, that sounds like fun.
Or we can learn about the sun.
We can take a trip to the caverns beneath,
Or take a look at all the different animal teeth.
Where do you want to go, what do you want to learn?
What knowledge is it that you yearn?
This world has magic and wonder all around.
You just gotta know where it can be found.
It’s not on TV or on your phone
It’s not something you must be shown.
Take a peek and you just might see
All the wonderful things God put here for you and me.

Field Trip Frenzy: Brought to You by Existential Dread and a Budget Cut
Ah yes, the boundless curiosity of the imagination—nature’s way of distracting us from potholes, taxes, and why your Wi-Fi keeps dropping during Zoom. Shall we fly with bees? Sure, just don’t mention colony collapse. Dive to the ocean floor? If you like microplastics and sunken shopping carts. Explore volcanoes? Great, until you remember they’re just Earth’s acne. The truth is, the magic’s all around us—buried under concrete, monetized by YouTube, or locked behind a paywall.
But hey, keep dreaming! Just don’t forget your permission slip, liability waiver, and bug spray.

Rivers sing softly and stars twirl in delight. God crafted a world so beautiful that its wonders can only be truly seen in person, not through screens. Every leaf beckons us to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
