If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?
If I had to give up one word that I use regularly, what would it be?
I gave this prompt a lot of thought and kept drawing a blank. Much like when a new injury occurs you realize how much that part is used, similarly if a word was eliminated you would sorely recognize its absence. Speech would stutter searching for a word with no match. Pens would stop mid sentence waiting for the brain commands that never come. It would be complete and utter chaos. Like when one element is removed from a single food chain, whole ecosystems can fall from one interference. I think we should just play it safe and leave the words alone. Individually they may seem miniscule and unimportant, but bring them together and they can conquer all.
One word to eliminate.
One word to delete.
But what could that word be,
that I no longer need?
Much like a boo boo or injury,
it highlights how much you need
that particular body part in everyday deeds.
If I was to take a word and cut it out,
I would notice without a doubt.
Without just one, things might not be the same
and I would be to blame.
I’ve tired to figure out which one it would be,
But for the life of me
I can not figure out the letter to be exiled into history.
Maybe fail would be a good one, I use it daily.
But on second thought without failure how would I know I can succeed?
All the words I use have a purpose and a need.
Without just one my story is incomplete.
It would be impossible to choose a word not to use.
In fact its borderline abuse
and I refuse
To be part of the muse.
I had way more fun with this prompt this is initially thought!

I would be more than happy to give up the pseudo-word, MAGA.
