American History: Our Attempt to Rewrite History

Across America for generations children have been taught Christopher Columbus was the first non-native person to touch foot on American soil. They are taught how Christopher made friends with the native peoples only give them diseases and take away their land. American history will not lie about the horrible things done to the American Indians, but they have used every attempt to rewrite history and hide proof that many peoples were in America long before Christopher Columbus. In fact, some archeological finds date back to pre-Christ era. Why is this not included in our history books? Because it does not fit the narrative they are trying to spin. It is incredibly important to preserve accurate historical accounts, especially those that have been subject to deceitful manipulation.
