Big snow flakes fall from the sky.
Covering the ground in a white disguise.
The world that once was disappears.
Blanketed by the whiteness I endear.
Everything becomes quiet, dampened by the snow.
Highlighting everything with a magnificent glow.
Silent so heavy it can be felt.
Oh how it saddens my heart to see it melt.
It is a quiet that is different from anything.
Nothing else can sing the snow flake’s melody.
