Lucky Charms

Lucky Charms

I can look at the mountain before me and say it’s too high.
Or I can hit my knees and give it another try.

It doesn’  matter what I can do.
What matters is who I get my strength through.

I don’t wish upon the stars
or have a lucky charm.

I don’t look  for answer in a cup of tea
or search for guidance from astrology.

I don’t call upon familiar spirits,
knowing they will answer it.

I don’t look to society
for the things I need.

I ask The King
the one who provides for me.

Don’t chase omens and old wives tales,
they will set you up to fail.

Don’t inquire mediums and psychics
they are all just well orchestrated tricks

Don’t rely on your own understanding.
Know the abundance of blessings God brings.

If you seek first the kingdom of God
it will be easier to see through the facade.

So many people today,
want to listen to what men say.

They forget that father cares too.
He already knows what troubles you.

But to receive His help you must ask.
Or else it will never be part of His
task.

Don’t get caught up in Earthly ways
Forever shout Jesus’s name in praise.

For the time here is for just a little while
Let not forget that the serpent is here to beguile.

Look to God for answers and clarity,
He will give you the answer you need.
