What would you change about modern society?
What would I change about modern society? I would put God back at the center of everything. I am tired of seeing the lack of morals, disrespectful, unGodly, evil overflowing in today’s world. Very few people know God and even fewer REALLY know him and strive to have a relationship with Him. The world would be a better place, instead of wondering lot in a world full or worldly things.

Ironically, last night I came in and Noah was on TV, been a while since I watched it, again I sat and watched… I cried as I realized the world about me seems to be falling into such wickedness as there…

Indeed it is, but the Bible told us it would be.

Few people nowadays even WANT to know God. They’re stuck on machines and technology.

Agreed, and I might guess those who walk with the Lord, but it is not my station call them out as such, only to be open to them through hope and prayer. Mine is not to condemn, but to hope that all may open their hearts to the Lord. Not all will.

There’s a growing faith movement among Gen Z. I’m praying it grows into true revival, not simply political conservatism like the current God-and-Trump crowd.

As a public school teacher going on my 18th year, I certainly can agree it is like the days of Noah or as in 3 Tim 3:1-5, a lawless generation…
1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.
I teach art to grades k-5. It’s a pretty chill subject where kids get a lot of freedom and a lot of independent time. They get as little of as much help from me as they want and work with friends. The amount of straight up disrespect and defiance has gotten ridiculous. Anytime you speak to parents it’s “well what did you or someone else do to my child to make the act like that.” Parents need to actually parent. I love my kids including the ones I teach, but allowing them to grow up as self-centered as they are is not loving them properly. I do my best to meet kids where they are at, but parents and schools are enabling bad behavior.

18 years as a teacher. That is admirable. I can only image the progression you have seen through the years as each new class came along. Your relevant scriptures are also very accurate. I agree parents should parent more. The generation of so called soft parenting is creating a dangerous generation. Parents and schools enable and the applauded for their excellency. Most do not even teach please and thank you let alone right and wrong. I am very blessed be able to homeschool and this is a major contributing factor.
