If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

II Chronicles 7
1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house.

3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.

5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

7 Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.

8 Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.

9 And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

10 And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

11 Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;

18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

Motherhood Mornings

What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

What are my morning rituals? Well, if I manage to drag myself out of bed before my little ones get up then I prefer to have a moment of peace with my heavenly Father. This luxury is rare as I am usually run out of bed by my soon to be one year old. I wake up and make coffee and breakfast for the children. Then I homeschool my kids until it is time for me to go to work. My mornings are usually chaotic and filled with my children’s needs. Crazy my  mornings may be, but it’s my favorite time of the day. I am blessed to be able to homeschool my children and have the extra time with them. God blesses me and my family exceedingly.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Psalms 27:14 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

Psalms 27
A Psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

A Place For Me

I wrote this poem for all the orphans in search of a place they belong.

My soul softly whispers of a place unknown.A place my eyes have never been shown.

A constant yearn for things not seen. Not everything is as it seems.

My heart screams its greatest desires,
but I learn to ignore them as life requires.

A place where I can safely sleep.
A place for things I can keep.

A gentle touch, a kiss goodnight
someone to care and hold me tight.

A simple I love you or I’ll be there
Sometimes the loneliness is to much to bare.

Everyday a struggle just to survive,
But to me it is just a way of life.

I’ve asked so many, help me please. Some have sad eyes and reasons to leave. Most  all turn away not wanting to see.

Long Since Forgotten Morals

Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?

What aspects do I think make a person unique? Honesty, loyalty, and a good moral stand point. It used to be you could count on a man word. Nowadays a man will lie straight to your face and then be mad that you called him out. Too many people with a bankrupted  morality are creating generations that are Godless and dangerous.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

II Corinthians 4
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Little Girl

Tucked away and out of sight.
Hush little girl, don’t put up a fight.

Be mindful and listen, stay in your place.
Soon your thoughts I will erase.

Say goodbye to fairy tales and great castles with kings.
Say farewell to witches and goblins and creatures with wings.

I will soon replace it with broken hearts and shattered dreams.
I will fill you with self doubt and insecurities.

One day you’ll wake up and see.
That the little girl you used to know
was no more than make believe
now covered by a different reality.

Little by little I’ll take it all away.
Oh what a price to pay.

Once she is gone she is hard to find
Maybe even impossible for you to remind.
Even harder for time to rewind.

Some never find her,a version of their self long since erased
Oh my what a waste.
So much joy has been displaced.

What if she felt safe and secure?
What if she could be your cure?

Skyscrapers built higher than they eye can see.
What if I could show you there’s no need.

The walls built to keep people out
Can turn into a prison of self doubt.

Walls made for protection and peace,
can cause inner turmoil to increase.

So don’t tuck her away deep inside.
Don’t tell her she has a million reasons to hide.

Rid yourself of self destruction.
Treat yourself to a new construction.

Let her loose and let her be free.
You may just see,
How wonderful life can be.

Easter Is Approaching ☺️

As Easter quickly approaches, I feel obligated to do this article. I was a Christian for many years before I was told the truth or had any inclination that I could be going down the wrong path. Did you know that Easter is not biblical? There is only one time that Easter is mentioned in the Bible and that is in Acts 12:4, but this is considered a mistranslation of the Greek word for Passover. The Bible does not explicitly mention the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as “Easter. The Bible certainly does not mention egg laying bunnies or hunting for colorful eggs.

Do you know where the idea of hunting the easter egg comes from? The word “Easter” was derived from Ishtar who was a powerful Mesopotamian goddess of love, fertility, and war. In ancient times this goddess was worshiped in celebration of spring and new life or beginnings. Eggs were a big symbolism during these festivals which often involved the rolling of eggs, orgies and sexualized acts from all participants.

Throughout the years, the true meaning of Passover has been replaced by the traditions of men. We would rather teach our kids fallacies and dress up fairy tales as if they are sacred scripture. Passover is meant to remember the time of Moses when God provided a passover for His followers. The book of Exodus explains that God directed the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb and use the blood to mark the doorway. All those who obeyed and believed were granted the Lord’s passover.  That night at midnight God sent a death angel throughout Egypt killing every first born. All the Israelites who obeyed were left unscathed. We must never forget that time in Egypt and what God did for the Israelites. We must teach our children our history.

Fast forward about a thousand years and Jesus himself became our passover by dying on the cross for our sins. He conquered death and caused it to pass over us, so that we may have everlasting life. This is the time of year in which we are supposed to remember not only the time in Egypt, but how Jesus died on the cross and became our passover.

This is one major reason I do not attend church locally. I have yet to find one that does not incorporate easter eggs, bunny rabbits or even mentions the time of Moses during easter celebrations. For many years my son participated in easter egg hunts. In fact, my parents would eagerly anticipate hosting their own easter egg hunt for the grandchildren. I was also raised to follow these traditions and recall receiving my very first Bible during an easter celebration. I still cherish that Bible today. It has been a few years now that I’ve learned the truth and every year I try to do better and better by teaching my children the right way. I think the first steps were the hardest as grandparents and other family members had a hard time understanding why I began to refuse to let my kids participate in easter egg hunts. They thought that I was crazy and couldn’t understand how Easter was not biblical because it is in fact celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Some have come to agree with my view on things, others have not.

More often than not, we put our own words into the celebration and forget what the true meaning of Passover really is. I want to teach my children correctly along with the whole truth. And if that means ruffling some feathers to do so, well, I’m willing to do that. I refuse to follow the masses just because it is the social norm. Are you teaching God’s word in the way that He would want you to, or are you teaching what has been passed down from generation to generation? These unbiblical teachings are driving a wedge between you and God’s truth. Do you follow man or God? Are you taking steps this year to bring back the focus on God or are you stressing about preparing easter baskets and stuffing easter eggs? Is your church working together to glorify God and what He has done for us or are you working together to continue an unbiblical tradition of men?

Maybe God has you here, right now, reading this article that He laid heavy on my heart to write. Maybe He wanted me to write this for you, so God could show you the truth and give you eyes to see and ears to hear. It is your choice what influences your children and generations to come.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:6 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

Matthew 6
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Pieces of me

If you could have something named after you, what would it be?

If I could have something named after me I would want my name to be on a library. Not just any library, but the library of all my writings. All the ones lost and thrown away, or lost since forgotten. From the very first thing I wrote to the last. Tiny pieces of me would be left in every essence of paper.

I would want my library to be filled with every truth in the universe so everyone in the world could access it and learn for free. Unlimited access to unlimited information that is factual and without bias or speculation. A perfect little library filled with veracity and God’s grace.
