Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: Joel 2:12 KJV

Joel 2
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

Revelation 3

1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Putting God First

Luke 14:26 King James Version.
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
In the beginning of my walk with Jesus this verse bothered me. I could not wrap my head around why I must hate my family to love God properly. Why couldn’t I just love them both equally but differently like I do my spouse and children? How could I ever get to the point of loving God so much I hated my family? Was this even possible?

Many years later, as my faith became stronger and more knowledge based, I revisited that very question. How do I put God first? The Greek word is
miseō (mis-eh’-o) μισέω, which means to love less. So in other words I am supposed to love my family less than God. That made more sense than I expected to hate them. Still feeling confused and like I was missing something I went to God and asked. I asked him to provide me with clarity and wisdom. I asked for a deeper understanding of the subject and the motivation to successfully get to that point in my life.

Not long after, the pieces came together like never before. Matthew chapter 6:33 reads, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. I was starting to learn If I put God first, all else will fall into place. He will not only lead, guide, direct and protect me, but my family as well. By putting Him first and relinquishing my life to Him, I am giving my family the best possible security I can.

Today, I put God first because I know he will never leave me nor forsake me. He makes a way before me and will never tempt me beyond my capacity without providing a solution. He tells me all things and never changes. He cannot lie and is always looking out for my best interest.  He blesses me abundantly and his grace covers me completely. By putting God first I am forming a bubble of protection around my family in a sense. I know by prioritizing God, everything else will be taken care of, including my family.

How to Put God First

Make Him your very first thought every morning. In the past, the moment my eyes opened my first thought would be whether I had to work or not. With practice, I now thank our heavenly Father for another day to live and another opportunity to serve Him. Each and every day is a blessing and should not be taken for granted. I want my first and last thought everyday to always be God. A major step in putting God first is to make Him your very first thought.

Another way to put God first is to thank him continually for the day to day things. If you get a raise at work, praise God for it. If you slipped but didn’t fall and bust your head open, thank God for your fortune. Maybe your utility bill was a few dollars cheaper, or the day went by without so much as a hiccup. Remember to count your blessings each and everyday and don’t forget about the little things. The little things are so often missed and taken for granted. Just the fact that your eyes are open, you are breathing without help, and your legs function enough to carry you, are more blessings than some people have. Never forget all you possess comes from the Lord. Your physical health, job, financial stability, vehicle, home, mental health, the list goes on and on. If you can’t find a blessing, try changing your perspective.

Trusting in God and His plan for your life goes hand in hand with putting God first. Relinquish the fight to maintain control and allow His will to take precedence in your life. Before making any decisions that have any kind of impact, ask for His counsel and guidance. Pray for His blessings to lead your life according to His will. God has a much better plan for us than we do ourselves. We just have to stop getting in the way and be a willing servant. He will give you sound advice and help in your endeavors only if you are a faithful servant. Philippians 4:6-7 reads
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
And Proverbs 16:3 reminds us,  Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Lastly, reading the Bible is a great way to be God oriented. By keeping scripture fresh in your mind it also stays close to your heart. Matthew 15:11 KJV, states “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” What you feed your mind will ultimately come out of your mouth. The more you focus on scripture and God, the more it will show in your life as well. The living word will transform your life in unimaginable ways, you just need to read it. The Bible is essentially a guide on how to make it during the time we are in the flesh. It tells us what to eat and what not to eat. It gives answers on how to deal with sickness and disease. It teaches us how to be neighborly and a good friend. The Bible was written to study and implement in our daily lives.

Am I perfect and where I ought to be? No. I am sure my faith could be stronger and my patience longer. But if I look into the past compared to today I have made leaps and bounds in progress. I have a more Christ centered life and strive to serve him each and everyday. I look forward to His guidance and counsel with every decision and remember to thank Him for the abundance of blessings. I tell God often I love Him and ask Him to make known His plan for my life. So that I may follow His will and not my own. I aspire to be a woman after God’s own heart.

Of course, these are not the only ways a person can create a God centered life. There are hundreds of ways to accomplish this. As humans we all have free will. God will never force anyone to do anything. Isn’t that the ultimate test? To see whether we choose God or follow Satan. Everyday is a choice that either brings us closer to God or further away. LITTLE STEPS EVERYDAY MAKE HABITS STAY. What direction are you heading today?

Silence

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

What question do you hate to be asked and why?

I hate to be asked, “how are you?”  I hear this question at least 5 times a day. Each one is the same as the last, superficial and a sentence used to fill space. No one wants a straight answer. I usually reply, “Good, how are you?”, as if I really care. In fact I do not care and neither does the person asking. It’s a mundane thing called pleasantries. If I was to say, “I am in fact horrible today,” I quickly turn the conversation into an awkward and pitiful tone.
Perhaps what bothers me the most is I can feel that the habitual words are lies. I can sense the troubled soul. I can see the weariness in their eyes or the heavy load on their shoulders. I notice the burdens of life taking its toll. The heart aches pulsates from their bones covering their body in a hue of blue. Some are light and wispy but others are dark and cumbersome. I see it and say nothing. Because it is what people do.
“Hey, how are you?”
“I am great. How are you?”
“I am Good.”
Then the conversation ends. Everybody asks but none really wants the truth.
We are taught by society to say nice things, and to participate in this meaningless exchange of words but for what reason other than it is the social norm. I read once that Americans do not know how to handle silence. When two friends get together they feel the need to fill every second of their time with some sort of conversation. The article stated that in other countries a comfortable silence among friends is common and expected. It is a natural part of two people talking. Yet, Americans seem uncomfortable with the lack of words and talk about the whispering wind just to have something to say. Has meaningful conversations become a thing of the past? Conspiracy theories, your hopes and dreams, physics, time travel, relativity, or your fears, I can talk about all day long. But if it is just the surface you want to speak about, leave me out.

                              Chapter 1

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sudden knock on her door jars Ariana awake. She rolls over to look at her phone on the nightstand, 7:07 AM. “Who in the world could that be at this hour?” she thinks out loud.

Ariana pushes herself off the bed as she tries to shake off the morning stiffness. Quickly, she glances in her vanity mirror as she grabs her robe and walks out of the bedroom. The sound of her feet echoes through the hallway as she moves across the hardwood floor. She peeks between the slit of the light blue curtains on the window next to the front door.
There stood a decent-looking man in his mid-thirties with a concerned look on his face. “Can I help you?” She asked the stranger.
“Good morning Ma’am. My name is Adrian”, He replies. “I’m so sorry to bother you so early on a Saturday, but it seems I have hit your vehicle.”

Anger and confusion boil within her. “The only driveway for miles and you hit my car. How could he have possibly hit my car? He has no business being out on this road.” She thinks to herself.
Ariana takes a deep breath and sighs. “I’ll be out in a minute,?” she answers. “Okay, good. I am terribly sorry.”

Ariana wants to scream and shout at the man, call him stupid for allowing such a thing to happen. Instead, she slowly turns around and walks towards the kitchen. With no haste in her
steps, she grabs her favorite purple coffee mug from the cabinet and starts the Keurig. She takes a seat at the kitchen table and checks the notifications on her phone as the aroma of black coffee fills the room. No new messages, no new notifications. Her phone is just a reminder of friends that she has lost contact with and family she no longer talks to. Every day running together into a blur of mistakes and misfortune. Each day, simply no different from the last.

The stiffness that dwells so deep in her bones reminds Ariana again as she rises from the chair. Mornings are always a struggle. She grabs her steaming cup of coffee and returns to her chair. In a state of detachment, she sips and breathes in the warming aroma. She reached for her phone once more, as if there is not a stranger standing in her lawn expecting her return any moment now. As if her life was everything she had hoped it would be. As If she was not a breath away from a psychotic breakdown.

She casually finishes her coffee as she checks on the weather forecast for the day. Once
satisfied, she rinses out her cup and places it on the drying mat next to the sink. Frozen in place, she watches as the last few droplets of water stream down the sink and disappear as they fall over

the edge of the drain. The ever-present dread washes over her body as she can no longer avoid the elephant in the room, rather should she say, the buffoon in her driveway.

Ariel heads off to the bedroom to slip on a slightly more decent attire. She opts for a pair of
comfy spandex pants with a colorful t-shirt and walks into her sandals as she leaves the room. She faces the door, with knob in hand, trying to mentally prepare herself for the social interaction that awaits on the other side. With a deep breath, she turns the knob and pushes her way through.

Then and there, she sees just how bad off her car really is. The car’s driver side door is
completely smashed and won’t work again. The proportion of the dent, much larger than the tire itself that lies many feet away. Glass sprinkles the gravel below with various pieces scattered inside. Her mirror somewhere in the next universe or presumedly blown to smithereens.

After a few moments of speaking to Adrean, Ariana’s anger and disbelief are replaced with compassion and understanding. His luck might just be worse than hers. He had booked a
vacation where his flight was delayed, the airline lost his luggage, he became lost after taking a wrong turn and lo-and-behold, the wheel became detached from his car. The tire spins off, all
wild and crazy, and smacks right into the side of her car. Ariana giggles to herself over the irony of the whole situation. Out of all the roads he could have been on, it had to be hers. Out of all the possible things the tire could have hit, it had to be her car.

They exchange insurance information as Adrean continues to apologize for the damages. She politely reassures him it’s alright and expresses her relief that he isn’t hurt. He further explains a tow truck would come to retrieve both vehicles along with a delivery for a rental car until hers is fixed. Ariana thanks him for taking care of everything and wishes him a more pleasant trip. She quickly retreats to the safety and comfort of her home. With a huge sigh of relief, she locks the door behind her, happy the forced meeting has finally come to an end.

She slumps on the soft oversized couch while she enjoys the surrounding silence. Loneliness
whispers to her heart, but she forces the thoughts away. The rest of her weekend finishes with no more disasters. She is thankful for the momentary pause in her misfortune. She spends the rest of Saturday catching up on the chores around the house. Dishes washed and put away, laundry folded and hung up, bills paid, floors swept and moped. At the end of the day, she looks around at her accomplishments, satisfied at the level of cleanliness she achieved. Tired and beyond in need of a break, she grabs a bottle of wine, the book she recently started, and retreats to the bathroom suite.

As she crosses the threshold, the smell of sweet lavender fills the air. The huge bear claw bathroom becomes the main focal point of the room. The light blue and brown flowered shower curtain caresses the tub, matching the rest of the decor. A large oak vanity sits in the corner with

various make ups and lotions on the top. Floor length mirrors line the walls to the right, followed by a modest toilet and sink to the left. Ariana bends down and turns the hot knob on all the way. Steam and the sound of cascading water begin filling the room. Ariel steps out of her clothes, leaving each item lay wherever they may fall. She slowly dips one foot in the water as pins and needles dance across her skin.

Hesitantly, she lifts her other foot and plunges it into the steaming water. She swiftly places the rest of her body into the water. For a split second, the overwhelming pain of intense heat becomes unbearable. Sharp pins and needles sting every inch of her skin and seem to intensify
around her sensitive areas. She watches as her skin turns to a bright red hue, the pain dissipating more and more by the second. At last she breathes a sigh of relief as her body becomes
acclimated to the hot water.

She reaches for the bottle of wine and pours herself a glass. Quickly she drinks all the contents
and pours another. Deciding it was more convenient to drink from the bottle, she places the glass on the floor. A few drinks later and she can feel the tension escaping her body, as if the alcohol was pushing it from her bones, dissolving into the hot liquid that surrounds her.

Ariana reaches for her phone and feels her head swim as the last few drinks take effect.
Alternatively, she scoots further into the water, allowing her head to rest on the back of the tub. Instantly, her thoughts run through everything that has happened in the last few months.

Her father’s sudden passing from heart failure. Her best friend Olivia moving to California. Her mother refuses to speak to her because Ariana will not allow her to control her life. Her boyfriend of 7 years waking up one day and deciding he was not ready for that much of a
commitment. She had suspected any day now he would pop the question. She would say yes, of course, and soon would follow a new house and the starting of a family. Her family, where she wouldn’t feel like a black sheep. Her career shattered in less than 24 hours.

Her dream was to become a baker. She wanted to be a well-known name in town for her sweets. A schedule so full she can narrowly manage them. With clients of the highest social status. After Lori died in a tragic accident, the promises of becoming a partner and promoting her recipes quickly died as well. The imminence, aggravation, failure, heartache, and struggles over the past few months shatter her. She just wants a break. A few simple days where something didn’t go
wrong, or she didn’t have to suppress the need to cry.

A few more drinks and her thoughts become fuzzy and a little more happy. She haphazardly
stands up, leaning on the wall heavily to keep her balance. On the third attempt, she throws her

leg over the tub and plant both feet firmly on the floor. She grips the side of the tub as she fights to gain control of her equilibrium. Ariana staggers out of the bathroom, each step calling for twice as much effort as normal. She successfully makes it to the foot of the bed and stumbles on top. Seconds later she is passed out, butt naked, still dripping wet.

Ariana jerks herself awake, freeing herself from the hold of the dream. Gasping for air, fist
clenched around the covers, sweat covering her body. The line between reality and what is only in her head blurs. She focuses on the image of the girl in her mind. Once she reads, a person can not create a new face in their dream. If you dream of a person, you must have seen them in real life, even if only in passing. She had never believed that theory, even more now, as she sees nothing familiar in the girl’s face.

She tried g to recount every detail, hoping somehow to make sense of the dream, all the emotions and understand what her subconscious has conjured up. She switches on her night lamp and grabs her dream journal. At first, the details are abstract, one frame jumping to the next. She cannot grasp the story line or remember anything really, only the heavy emotions remained true. So heavy, it felt as though someone was sitting on her chest. Everything inside of her wants to scream, to run away, to cry. She wants to give up. Then, suddenly, everything becomes clear. Like focusing a projector lens, the picture in her mind’s eye becomes clear. The entire dream plays out before her eyes.

Ariana is sitting in the middle of a room. Heavy, dark drapes cover both of the windows, blocking any natural light from penetrating through. Tall ceiling makes the room feel larger than it is, with walls covered with textured, floral wallpaper that has begun to peel. The room is
completely empty except for a tattered blanket and a bucket pushed to the corner. Padlocks firmly seal the door shut. Beside her lies a small child that appears to be somewhere around 11 years old. Her pitch black hair partially covers her face as it cascades to the floor. Even in the low light, the bloodstains on her shirt and countless bruises on her body are clearly visible. Her left eye has a huge gash across the top of it and the remnant of a black eye still colors the left.

Ariana peers down at the girl. She watches her chest, trying to see any type of movement, any sign of life, but she sees nothing. Fear of knowing the truth prevents her from touching her.
Instead, she scans the room again, hoping to see something familiar. The sound of approaching footsteps cut her search short.

Suddenly, the girl jumps to her feet and scurries to the furthest corner. Uncertain and fearful,
Ariana follows. The girl pulls her knees to her chest and wraps her arms around them. She pushes herself harder into the corner, as if she’s trying to become part of the wall. Her eyes, wide

and white with fear, stay glued to the door. Ariana notices the pain in every inch of her body. Every slight movement causes a new location of pain to come to light. Her stomach aches from emptiness, a pain that is not familiar. Just holding her head up and breathing required more
strength and energy than she currently possesses.

One lock, two locks, three locks. Ariana counts each one as they slide to their unlocked positions. Ariana glances at the girl just as she buries her face in her knees. An overwhelming dread and incapacitating fear takes hold of her body. Her mind races through the possibilities of what could be standing on the other side of the door. Or even worse, what could happen once it came through the door. Ariana cringes as the door swings open and cries silent, hopeless tears as her body trembles with fear. She can hear the rattle of the doorknob as it is being turned. The
sound of the aged wood cracking and popping and the squeak of the old hinges. Very white bright light clamps her eyes shut as it fills the room. Any feature or identifying clue blocked out by her eyes inability to adjust to the changing light.

Ariana’s mind spins over the whole situation. She struggles to grasp reality as she rises from the bed. Her covers are thoroughly wet, the darker hue almost perfectly tracing the outline of where her body used to be. Her pillow stained with tears, the corners bunched together, still formed to the shape of her fists. She forces herself to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, breathing a sigh of relief that it was only a dream.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

Romans 15

1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

17 I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:

21 But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

22 For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

28 When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. Proverbs 21:2 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

  Proverbs 21
1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

7 The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

8 The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

10 The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

12 The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

18 The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

22 A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

26 He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

28 A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.

29 A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

As always thanks for reading and have a blessed day.

Daughter of the One True King

You said child won’t you trust me,
I’ll give you what you need.
I’ll make you whole again.
Let me show you where to begin.

At first I tried to fight it.
Like Jonah I tried to run and hide.
I thought I was too far gone, my sins far too wide.
But I heard your voice whisper, child do not be afraid.
The price has already been paid.

Don’t let the world convince you that you are broken beyond repair.
Give me your burdens that are too heavy to bear.
Don’t let the devil feed you lies and deceit.
You can lay your worries at My feet.

Your sins I will tend to carefully.
I’ll wash them all away.
I’ll teach you to live fearlessly,
With childlike faith.

So I gave my heart to Jesus and he welcomed me home.
He showed me just where I belong.

He said child you can trust me.
I want you to succeed.
Come and rest within me.

I’m sure you recall your brother, the one they called Saul.
It does not matter how hard you fall.
Come and eat at my table there is no need to hide in shame.
I will give you a new name.

Let Me show you how to live, how to live to glorify me. You are a daughter of the one true King.

Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Romans 4:7 KJV
https://bible-strong.app

Romans 4
1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
