Ezra

If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?

If I could be a character from a book or film, who would I be? I would be the main character of my novel Ezra. I would want to be Ezra because she is smart, beautiful and bold. Brave, inquisitive and inspiring. To add to the pot, She stumbled upon a life changing adventure and found a whole community of tiny creatures that love and welcome her as their own. She owns a house with a massive underground network of tunnels and has a family that appreciates and cares for her. I created Ezra to be everything I am and so much more. These are the reasons I would want to be her.

  1. So many to choose from but two stand out. I was a huge Tolkien fan in my youth and Biblo Baggins stands out because he loved life, was generally kind to others, and passed on the opportunity to have power when it came his way. I love Barbara Kingsolver books especially Prodigal Summer. One of central characters, Lusa, works through loss and economic challenges and along the way forges a way forward and adopts her sister-in-laws kids. She is resilient and has the ability to put others before herself. Those are admirable qualities to me. Okay, back to work now. 🙂
