You Cannot Fake Faith

Why does it seem like most of the world is lost?
They fail to seek the cross.

They seek their own passage,
instead of His message.

They seek their own desire,
instead of His fire.

Some proclaim to know his name.
Rising high on His fame.

In the end our robes will show.
Does it fall above the knees or below?
In your heart you already know,

what works were done in this age
and whether your name is on that page.

It’s a choice we must all make.
It’s not something we can fake.

One will grant you an everlasting life.
The other will make you a sacrifice.
