My Tongue

My lips always fail my brain.
Always a constant source of shame.

The image I articulate and prepare to say,
my tongue becomes broken, unable to relay.

I say yes when I mean no and no when I mean yes.
Everything is always a second guess.

I stammer and stutter, unable to express.
I make everything a total mess.

I don’t  know why I even try.
That is why most of the time I hide.

Most people underestimate
not many can relate,

To the universe inside my head
compared to what I’ve said.

It’s difficult for me to put into words
all the pictures that just occured

In the length of time,
it took me to reply.

I always interrupt or talk too fast.
It’s been an issue since far in my past.

I try hard to be exact.
I usually have the facts.

Why speak,
when my speech is oblique.

Am I stupid like I’ve been told?
Is this something that can be controlled?

A permanent aspect of my life.
A constant cause for strife.

I wish I could be different
and not so ignorant.

Or at least in the eyes
of the one that denies

Because to some my words are like smoke,
gone live I never spoke.

just another waste of each time
as you try to make me realize.

Where it is I made a mistake
and how all this takes

so much effort and grace
I should make haste

and come to a revelation
and solve the equation

But we’ve been here before,
and I come back for more.

My tongue, my worst enemy
Will I ever find the remedy?

      3. Right now, I have to leave because my friend wants to go play games. We will catch up later. I have been messing around on here. My friend helped me make my website. I paid for something on here, so I can create a better website. I have a new email address on WordPress. I don’t want people to know my email address. I will probably talk to you tomorrow because I am busy.
