Father’s Plan

Father, I may not understand your plan
but I put my faith in You not man.

I know that You hold me tight,
and I know Your timing is right.

Some days just seem so tough.
I wonder when enough is enough.

Everyday is a struggle just to survive.
Some days I don’t even have the strength to try.

Your blessing shows beyond belief.
Daily, I count on Your relief.

My rock, my foundation, on which I stand.
With you I don’t fear the shifting sands.

Father help me be patient, helps me be kind.
Help me shine a light for others to find.

Father grant me diligence to stand still and wait.
Grant me serenity to help solidify my fate.

God remind me Your bigger than the problems in my life.
Remind me of the reason for your sacrifice.

Fathe be louder than the voices in my mind.
Help me not constantly hit rewind.

Lord stay at the center of my attention.
So I can be a helping part of your mission.

Help me conquer the sins of the flesh.
May I never forget my sins to confess.

May I devour your living word
as if it’s the only thing I’ve heard.

Give us this day our daily bread.
May yours be the only hand by which I am fed.

Father lead me now, I surrender to you.
I yearn to stand before you and hear “This one I knew.”

She proclaimed my name every day.
The price for her has already been paid.

You were with me in my mother’s womb, knowing the life I would assume.

But yet you loved me still.
Always ready to help me heal.

Thank you father for being by my side
and being my guide.
Matching me stride of stride
You always have enough time.

You met me where I was,
simply because

I am your child
and worthwhile

May I never forget your promises you wrote to me.
And all that is guaranteed if I believe.
