Day One

What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?

What is a job would I like to do for just one day? I have far too many to write about just one. I would enjoy working in a factory that handles molten metal but most definitely only a short while. I do not prefer very warm climates. I would also find it fascinating to be the people who collect lava samples. I would love to be a pilot or a captain of a ship. I would like to try a hand at underwater welding or see if I like washing sky scraper’s windows. A morgue  would be fascinating to work in once or twice but I wouldn’t want to make it a way of life. So many choices and so little time. I guess if I had to just choose one I would say, I would want to work alongside the elite of elite. Those few and far between that run this country from the shadows. The ones who hide secret knowledge and dictate what I am to know. This is the one job I would like to do for a day. Then I could put a face to the wicked and deceitful happenings of this nation. I could let people know all the information that is hidden and distorted. Another time another place I suppose. Godspeed and thank you for reading. God bless and have a great rest of your day.

  1. Ironically, in my case, I always enjoyed working in steel foundries, during my blue-collar-job phase, since I prefer warmer climates. Even today, doing a totally different job, I use every rare opportunity to spend some time working with molten steel.

    1. I work with steel daily but it’s not molten unfortunately. There is something fascinating about metal becoming liquid. Maybe it’s the beauty or maybe it’s the danger of walking the thin line between stable and unstable, but I do find it fascinating. Thank you for your comment.
