9-5 Time clock

I clock in and I clock out
I drive the same route

The steps I take
The moves I make

The same routine, habitual and mundane.
Sunshine or rain
All to sustain

I sacrifice my time
in comparison to a dime.

Minutes ticking away.
Moment passing away.

Each second I miss
I can’t reminisce

I have to see it through my ears
The actual happenings, nowhere near.

It silently breaks my heart
Each time we must part

I kiss each one goodbye
As the youngest asks why.

No need to worry it won’t be long,
And I’ll be back home where I belong.

  1. This is so cool as a mother is worried about her infants !

When we become adult we grow into the shape of Jesus and become one with him, the love of God is within you and with you!~ For the Love of God, the money we made was just a dime indeed!~ precious savior
