My Beloved Objects

What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

What personal belongings do I hold most dear. I have a Bible that was gifted to me when I was a little girl. The cover around it was hand stitched by my great grandmother.  It is very special to me. I also have kept a little puppy dog  stuffed animal key chain. I think I was about 8 when I got it. Next I have a blanket my father gave me when I was a teenager. I have cherished it for many years. I have many things that I have hung onto through the years but these are the first ones that come to mind. A perfect example of inexpensive yet priceless.

  1. My mind, the knowledge I have learned, the experiences it holds, the memories both joyful and painful, the lessons carved by time, and the ability to imagine, reflect, and create. These are the belongings no one can steal, no fire can burn, and no age can rust.
