A Mother’s Psalm
Lord, I have diligently raised my children in Your ways. I have done my best to teach them and equip them with the knowledge and faith to navigate this world. I pray that You walk with them in the times that I can not. I pray that you comfort and guide them when I can not be there. I pray they always run to You for peace, guidance and strength. I pray that they always know their worth and never settle for less than they deserve. And I pray that I have done my job well enough to keep them in Your will Lord. I can not be there all the time Father, but You can. You God, can be there when I cannot. So Father I pray that you bless my children with your wisdom and courage and keep them under Your grace. I pray that through their mistakes and sin they seek You Father and seek Your forgiveness and understand. I know they will make mistakes and I know they will have bad times but Lord I pray that You hold their hand and walk them through it just as You have me. Be there Father, during the times I can and the times I cannot. Be the reason they smile, the reason they sing, the reason they fight to live another day. May Your name be at the tip of their tounge and foremost in their mind. May your love fill their hearts and nourish their soul. May my children never forget Lord, that with You all things are possible, You will never leave them nor forsake them and if they seek first Your kingdom, all else will be added to them. I pray they study to show thyselves approved for there is no greater knowledge than the LIVING WORD. For if they stay in Your ways Lord, I will never need to worry. Protect my children Father for this world is a wicked place that is after their soul. Without You they will be devoured before dawn. May they put Your armor on each and everyday, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. This is a Mother’s Psalm, a heartfelt prayer for protection beyond her control.
