Potent Natural Tick and Mosquito Repellent

Every summer I treat my yard for ticks. And every summer i am late getting to it. I usually tackle it long after the ticks have begun to be really active and repopulate. This year, as usual I was late, as I should have already done it in the early spring. Normally, after my husband braves the onslaught of blood sucking creepy crawlers, I graciously remove all the ones I can find. With Lyme disease and other nastiness that they carry, each tick bite can feel like playing Russian roulette. To avoid all this nonsense I have found a concoction that works great as a natural tick repellent.

1 part Camphor oil
1 part Peppermint oil
1 part Eucalyptus

I mix all three together into a vial. I then use cotton balls to apply topical. Especially around the shoes, ankles and plant legs. I always do a ring around the wrists and neck as well and little on the clothes being worn. My husband says it’s so strong no bugs will come with a kile radius. I don’t know about that but I do know I haven’t had to pick a tick off of.anyone in a long time. Works great from my experience and I would much rather use a natural resource that the latest man made solution.
